Learn all about Chipmunks in this set of engaging virtual field trips! 🚍🐿️

World Chipmunk Day is celebrated on March 22nd! 🐿️ Did you know that there are 25 species of chipmunks, 24 of which live in North America. Chipmunks are related to squirrels and ground squirrels, are excellent tree climbers and good swimmers. These mammals hibernate in the winter and their young are born in the late spring. Learn all of this and more about these cute creatures with these engaging virtual trips!


This Google slide deck includes 3 different virtual trips and uses embedded videos. This

slide deck also includes a linked image in the bottom corner to return to the menu slide. It is best used in Present mode with the teacher sharing their screen. Another option is to go to File > Publish to Web and use that link. As always, teachers should preview the trips before using to determine what best fits the needs of their class.
