Adopt a Cow 🐄🐮 - Free Virtual Experience & 🚍Virtual Field Trips

Have fun learning about dairy cows with these virtual field trips and year-long Free Adopt-a-Cow virtual experience!🐄🐮🚍

Last fall, I shared these fall virtual field trips that my students really enjoyed! As part of those trips, we learned about dairy farms and even adopted a Free virtual class mascot, a dairy cow named Snowflake! We have participated in this fun, educational, free program for two years now, and have just signed up for our third year!

Here are the 8 virtual trips that I shared, which include 8 different embedded videos to learn all about dairy farms and how they work. I am love the 360° video which allows the viewer to move the mouse or rotate the screen to explore their surroundings! These eight trips are cleverly linked within an interactive virtual classroom that I created. I have included five farm themed read-aloud stories for additional options.

I am excited to be able to adopt a FREE dairy cow mascot for my classes again this year from www.discoverydairy.com! We will get updates from the farm and be able to send letters to our class cow. This connect is sure to get the students engaged and excited to learn more! If you want to participate in this FREE program through Discovery Dairy, the deadline to sign up is September 15th. More info is here and also included in the virtual field trip slides below.

I hope that you and your students enjoy these dairy farm🐄virtual🚍field trips and adopting a dairy cow mascot for your class!

Check out even more virtual field trip slide decks here and make copies to use and enjoy! This is a growing list, so check back often for newly added adventures!
