Going on a Picnic - a fun new virtual room for Summer!đThis room includes animated gifs and is ready for you to add your links!
Creating virtual rooms brings me joy and now that summer has arrived, I have time to create some rooms just for fun! This room contains many animated gifs that students are sure to love! Add links to some of your favorite online games, videos, websites, activities, or other slide decks.
Here are some suggestions for use with this room. Add links to items in the room by clicking on the item to select it, then pushing CTRL + K and adding the link.
To add links to objects that are part of the background, insert a transparent shape over it. Click on Insert > Shape and then make the shape and outline color transparent. Then, a hyperlink can be added to the transparent shape. Links can be added to go to websites, videos, other slides, or other Slide decks. Perhaps you would want to combine this with my Summer Rooms. You can combine the slide decks and have students access this 'second room' when they click on the window of the Summer Room.
Another suggestion, my Summer Fun slide deck would be a great choice to add a link to, make a copy of it here. The link can be added to any item in the picnic room.

*NOTE: If the link says you need to request access, it is your school network blocking the share. All items are set correctly to force a copy when clicked on. Many districts block things (including file shares) that are coming from outside of their domain. Please try making the copy from a personal email or Gmail account. Then, you can share the file with your school account. If you request access, I won't be able to grant it or respond to your email request, since the issue is blocked on your end.
